Advantages of Canning
  • After the can has been sealed, it is heated and sterilized. This process kills any microorganisms that could cause illness or spoil food.
  • Canning pasteurization process retains the nutritional value much better than any other modern preservation methods, e.g. additives, artificial preservatives, dry-freeze, etc.
  • Protein is broken down into amino acid during pasteurization, which is easily assimilated by body.
    Calcium is broken down by the heat process and becomes easily absorb-able.
